Turn on AI, privacy and budget
Under Settings → AI you turn on the AI assistant for your studio, choose the features, set the duration formula and see this month's usage.

The AI assistant is included from Pro, also during the trial. It starts off for every studio – you turn it on deliberately under Settings → AI.
Turn it on and choose features
- Turn on the AI assistant – the main switch for your studio.
- Request assistant, Duration estimate, Translation – each can be turned off.
- Include reference images – on: the AI sees up to 4 images your customer uploaded with the request. Off: it only works with the text.
- Duration formula – base pace, surcharges and discounts, setup, minimum duration and longest session. The examples below calculate with your values right away. More: Estimate duration with AI.
Who on your team sees the AI buttons is controlled by the permission Use the AI assistant (Team → member → Permissions). Default: everyone who manages requests.
What is sent to the AI provider
Inkfuchs uses OpenAI for AI. Data is only sent when someone on your team presses an AI button, and only what the suggestion needs:
- type of request, description and preferred dates – email addresses and phone numbers in them are blacked out first,
- placement, size, style, colour and budget,
- the request's reference images, if turned on.
Never sent: your customer's name, email and phone number, health information and anything from consent forms, customer records, internal notes, your artists' names and other photos. Inkfuchs doesn't store the content of requests and answers in logs – only task, model, tokens, cost and duration are counted.
OpenAI doesn't store responses for later retrieval and, according to OpenAI, doesn't use API data for training; OpenAI keeps abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days.
Budget and usage
Each AI call costs a few cents or less at the provider. To keep it fair, every studio has a monthly budget: a €3 base amount plus €1 per booked seat, during the trial as with 3 seats. Under Usage you see how much has been used – per feature with calls and costs.
