Transfer ownership

Want to hand your studio over – to your studio manager, to a colleague who takes over? Then you transfer ownership. It only works for someone who is on the team with their own account, and only once that person accepts. That way a studio never changes hands by accident.

How it works

1. Open Settings → Ownership & closing – only owners see this page.
2. Under Transfer ownership, choose the person.
3. Decide what you are afterwards: studio manager (you stay on the team) or no longer on the team.
4. Tap Offer ownership and confirm with your password – or with Face ID or your passkey.

The person gets an email and a notice at the top of the app. They have 7 days to accept or decline. Nothing changes until then.

What happens when they accept?

• They become owner – with all permissions, including subscription and data export.
• You become studio manager or leave the team. If you had appointments, you stay in the calendar as a person without access – the appointments stay with the studio.
• Appointments, clients, consent forms, website and client area stay as they are. Nothing changes for your clients.
• You both get an email, and the change shows up under Logs.

Withdraw, decline, expire

• You can withdraw the offer at any time – the person will be notified.
• If the person declines or lets the 7 days pass, you get an email and remain the owner. You can then offer it again.
• There is only one open offer per studio at a time.

Who can take over?

Any team member with their own studio account – no people without access, no client accounts, no guests whose guest period has ended. If the person isn't on the team yet, invite them first.

And then delete my account?

Once you're no longer the sole owner, you delete your account yourself under My account → Profile – see Delete your account. If nobody should take over, you can close the studio in an orderly way.
