Invite guest artists via QR code
Your guest scans a QR code, creates an account and works in your studio with their own calendar for the length of the guest spot – after that their access ends automatically.

Guest artists are part of the Pro plan. Owners and studio managers can invite them.
In three steps
- Create a QR invite: Under Guest artists, tap Create QR invite. Choose the role (default: guest artist) and enter Guest spot from and Guest spot until. Then set how long the code is valid (1 to 60 days) and how many people can use it – one for a specific guest, several for a convention, for example.
- Guest scans: with their phone camera – or send the link via WhatsApp or email, it works just the same. The guest signs in or creates an account and confirms their name.
- Guest is in the calendar: with their own column, their own appointments and in English if they like.
Expired or used-up codes stop working. You can revoke a code at any time – anyone who has already joined stays in the team.
Guest from – guest until
- The guest can only be booked online during their guest spot. The booking page shows “Guest until …” next to them.
- Under Guest artists you see who's in the studio right now, who's coming soon and who has already been.
- Access to the studio ends automatically with the last day of the guest spot (“guest until”) – nobody has to deactivate anything. The guest's own account stays. If the guest manages their own customers, they take them along to their own account.
- A guest only takes an artist seat while they're with you. More: Plans, pricing and trial.
- Appointments only during the guest spot: in the calendar, too, a guest only gets appointments between "guest from" and "guest until". Staying longer? Extend "guest until" in their profile – then they count for that long, too.
- Coming back (e.g. a month now, a month in spring): just enter the new dates on the same person – don't add a new one. Profile, clients and statistics stay together.
- All seats taken? Inkfuchs checks when you invite, when someone joins by QR code and when dates change whether more people would be in the studio at the same time than you have artist seats. You'll see a note and can pick other dates.
Chair rent or commission
In the guest's profile under Team, note what you agreed under Guest spot & billing:
- Commission – a share of the artist's revenue for the studio
- Chair rent – a fixed amount per day, week or month
- Mixed – chair rent plus a share of revenue
- None – no billing through the studio
