Your studio's storage

How much space your studio has for images and photos, what counts towards it and what happens when it's full.

Last reviewed: 10 October 2026

Every studio has storage for its images and photos. You can see how much is used under Settings → General in the Storage section – for example “0.4 of 1 GB”.

How much space do I have?

  • Free: 1 GB
  • Pro (also during the trial): 20 GB

What counts?

All files of your studio:

  • images on your homepage (header image, portfolio, artist photos)
  • your logo and the profile pictures of your team
  • reference images in requests – including those clients send via the request form
  • photos in messages, from your team and from clients

Data exports and files you upload when moving to Inkfuchs don't count – we delete those after a short time anyway.

When space runs low

From 80 % on, the settings show a notice, and owners see a banner at the top of the app.

When the storage is full, no new images can be uploaded – clients can't send photos in messages or reference images via the request form either. They see a friendly message and can continue without an image. Everything that's already there stays – nothing is deleted.

You free up space by removing images you no longer need – for example old website images in the editor or reference images of finished requests.

What happens after the trial?

During the trial you have the storage of Pro. If you then continue on Free and your studio uses more than 1 GB, everything stays stored – you can only upload new files again once there's space.
